Web Dev

These are the code pieces that make this website possible.

Fixed Header - A stylesheet by EGGRAMEN. This serves as the foundation to my website!

Random Message Display - A simple Javascript by Tony Vincent that I used on a very particular webpage :)

Theme Switcher - A persistent theme switcher by Joshua McSorley. This code piece was INSTRUMENTAL to making the chosen theme stay active across this entire site.

GLightbox - A lightbox setup by biati digital. This dependency-free CSS & JS codeset is what I used for the image viewers! Especially in the image galleries.

Automatic age updater - A simple Javascript by Bechno Kid. Very useful if you don't wanna constantly update your age every year. She also made a short tutorial involving jQuery if you're ever using that.

CSS Ticker Tape - A basic ticker tape code piece by Brad Hussey, which is based on a different code piece by Lewis Carey. Be warned: You may need to apply "overflow-x: hidden" on the "html" property in your CSS file in order to make this work.

Random Image Display - A simple Javascript from sadgrl.online's code snippets, which I used for the landing page image.

Book Cover - A fancy CSS codepiece from Yoann that I am currently using for the guestbook. I got this as a tip from Jenna Soulight!

Page Preloader - A technical CSS & JS codeset by Maks Akymenko. This is the loading screen that you'll see on every page! However, if you intend to use this, you NEED to at least apply "pointer-events: none;" on the ".preloader" property in your CSS file in order to make this work.

Loading.io - Go to this site if you want a simple loading screen graphic! Even with the free stuff, the loading graphic elements are highly customizable & can be exported in multiple file formats.
